Help! Should I Be Worried?

If you're particularly worried and in my opinion this measure is going a tad overboard for a residential small home network, use a combination of numbers, letters upper and lower case in your password. Also, try to give your network SSID something unique, but at the same time not something that would draw attention. Many router manufacturers recommend changing the SSID (network name) from the default (usually the manufacturer's name) to something else. And of course for added security make sure your router is password protected, the same for the modem if using a separate one. As they say, if you're going to do something you might as well do it completely or not at all.
