restoring pc but want to save all password and bookmarks

hi all can i have some help or advise please.

i am having few problems with my pc so i think it might be best if i wipe it clean and start it again but i want to keep all my saved bookmarks and saved password on my web bowser( i use firefox)

can anyone advice me on how i can do this but then reinstall firefox with all my bookmarks and saved password again please im not very good with computers to start with

any help would be appreciated

thanks very much i have just done that and it says saved file to desktop when i click on it it says cannot find file your looking for the saved pic on the file is all blank

Export as .HTML - If you just export it from the standard - it comes out as a .JSON - which is unreadable....(javascript)

I have used mozbackup which is pretty east to use

can i then save it to my removable hard drive then once i have wiped my pc again do i just reinstall firefox and then load it back up?

it only gives me the option to save it in JSON

i managed to save it as hotmail thanks guys

will this save all my password too?

No it wont .
I prefer not to transfer passwords to a clean build .
