Noddle 1/5

Finally got accepted by Noddle. Very interesting.
Problem is my credit score if 1/5. This is completely my fault in defaulting on a couple of accounts, but I have brought all other accounts up to date, pay my contract phone bill in full every month.
Is it just a matter of time before this goes up? I tried getting one of those credit builder cards, but got refused for even them.
I have a lot of defaults on one credit card, but seeing as I haven't heard from them or any collection agencies in four years, I just have to wait it out until April next year and I can get it written off. Will my credit score go up then?
Is your credit score still affected by debts that you've managed to have written off without paying back?

the credit score means nothing , just a way of getting you to pay for extra "credit raising" items that might build your credit score up0

Correct. Unsettled defaults in particular will be red flags to any lender.0 -
Just a heads up, and to echo freddy: You're Noddle score is pretty pointless and will go and down depending on which way the wind blows. It's even more useless than the Experian / Equifax ones.
My credit reference remains completely identical yet it changes from one month to the next.
You're credit reference will be affected by anything that shows up on it. If a debt is written off / satisfied etc and it still shows then yes it will still have an effect.0 -
As above, forget your credit score.
That score is the score the credit agency gives you.
Whenever you apply for credit (mortgage/credit card/loan etc) the actual credit provider will score your application using information on your credit report on top of information on your application.
