If I do a System Restore on my sons PC, will this get rid of a Trojan Horse? I have tried everything, but nothing is shifting it.....

Thanks

Can try it... i'm not sure if it'll work or not though.
Alternatilvey (or if SystemRestore doesnt do the job)...
    >Try to delete it in SafeMode or do a virus scan in safemode
    >post which Trojan it is and where on your PC its located (directory and filename)
    >Try using another antivirus

    Also download DrWeb's Cureit... http://download.drweb.com/drweb+cureit/
    Update Avast
    Startup into safemode:
    1)Shut down PC
2)boot it up again and keep tapping F8
3)it'll request you to select how you want to startup your PC... select SafeMode. If it says "keyboard error", push the power button on your PC to turn off your PC and continue from step 2.
4)when the PC starts in SafeMode, do a full PC scan using Avast and CureIt
5)Doublecheck if the Trojan is there or not after you have scanned. If it is, try to delete it manually (or rename it at least)

Restart your PC and it should startup into normal mode again
