British Gas Homecare and Vokera Linea 28 boiler

Hi, I currently have a Vokera Linea 28 boiler fitted in Autumn 2001 and have had a Homecare policy on it for years

The boiler was serviced last week and the gas engineer said that British Gas do not stock all the replacement parts for this boiler any more and he had to make me aware of this, my policy is due for renewal in January.

The boiler is working fine, and I know that all boilers have a limited life span but am hoping that it will last for another few years etc

I am hoping that someone would be able to advise is it that some parts for this boiler are not available anywhere or is it just that British Gas dont
carry them anymore

Obviously if they are available but not from British Gas i would not renew my cover and find a good local gas engineer to service it etc

would be really grateful for any advice, thanks in advance

    It basically means Vokera have stopped making some parts, they usually do after 10 years. It will be minor stuff like the casing, the main parts BG will be able to get and have in stock. I wouldn't worry about it
  • I had a Vokera, and still have BG service up until a couple of months ago.
