What is happening with ebay?

I always make sure my auctions finish some time in the evening around 8pm. For some weird reason, some finished in the very early hours this morning. Don't understand that and I have deleted the original emails when I first listed, so I can't check when I started them.
It is possible that I made a mistake when scheduling them (I hardly use scheduled listings but I did use them recently when I was going to be out in the evening). I wouldn't have got the time that wrong - instead of 20.00 I would have finished them at 8am instead.
Anyway too late to do anything now. Surprisingly one item sold and that was 5 hours ago but I still haven't received the standard email notifying me of the sale and the name of the buyer. I have checked the spam and it is not there.
Is anyone having the same problem or is it just me?
