I think I will not take one of my tablets tonight which is to help me sleep, I am always awake until gone 2am and then cannot get going until midday :o:eek:

Can I suggest changing the time that you take the pill. Maybe taking it a couple of hours earlier would get you to sleep earlier?

    Good morning everyone

It was miserable and wet when I woke but it seems to have brightened up considerably. Hubby is still home with me and then I had a rubbish night's sleep as something I'd eaten really upset my tummy and I had bad cramps all night. Never mind, I feel a lot better today.

Our little Happy Thursday party went really well. The girls were very relieved that it was just the grandchildren coming, they were worried they would have to be on their best behaviour :D. We have loads of leftovers so the girls had a nice packed lunch for school today. I've just had some porridge to stop me nibbling on sausage rolls.

Catching up on the washing today and having a bit of a tidy up before the weekend. The girls break up for half term today so they will be helping out next week. I have the carpet cleaner people coming on Tuesday so the furniture will have to be moved and hoovered round. I have also arranged to go out on Thursday to do some Christmas shopping and I'm just the tiniest bit excited about it. I'm going to Dunelm mill to get some baking stuff for my friend's present as it is a lot cheaper there than online.

Hope everyone manages to have a good day whatever they are up to. Hugs are freely offered too, take care xx
  • This morning was fine and dry so I spent the time cleaning all of my garden tools and then wd40ing them to put them away for winter.

Pots have been washed out as well, but I will do them again in the Spring.

Then I put more kale, beetroot, spinach and cabbage plants into the raised beds that the runners were in. Picked some salad leaves to go with dinner tonight and got some more potatoes out of the potato tub

Then I made more briquettes for the stove and they are now in the greenhouse drying (I smear them with vaseline and they make great firelighters :) )

I also did two loads of washing which I had to bring in because it started to rain.

Absolutely shattered now and my knees are giving me hell and I will definitely suffer tomorrow as well, but I feel that I have achieved something :)

Dinner tonight is bacon and mushroom slice with wedges and salad :)

    Afternoon All
Been a busy day with hospital visits today, got my MRI results on my back, degeneration of the Spine, and one vertebrae round the wrong way and pointing in, hence the pain. Only solution is surgery to fuse two together to keep the naughty one round the right way, but only when I cannot live with the pain any longer.:o I will survive a while now.
Back this afternoon to see to Dermatologist, who says this infection is going to take a long time to heal, and has prescribed me some special soap, and cream, soap not in stock at farmacia, will be in tomorrow, they had the cream, I needed a chair 77.71€,:eek:seems it is only available on private prescription, so could not get it at home easily, luckily it will not break the bank, and I do want my hands sorted. On the way home called and looked and bought a new outside table and chairs for the patio, good job DH is now getting his OAP too. :o:D

Hilly sounds like the wet room wil be good for you.
Molly got your op lined up yet??
    LW How are you?
HH Enjoy your week away from the mad house.
    TTFTM ((HUGS))

Out tonight to a steak restaurant, and I'm driving!

((hugs)), spoons, and positive vibes all round. Take care everyone. DG

Hi DG I'm plodding on, thanks; dogless for now (Jack went home this morning) but hopefully there'll be a canine guest for me soon.
Had the ultrasound on my hands, which showed up a load of inflammation. I have to go for the nerve conduction thingy on Wednesday, then the following week, we see what the consultant makes of all the results. *gulp*

Sounds like you're having a *fun* time (not) - hoping you get some relief soon.

Gotta dash, Mr LW is on his way home, and I need to make up sweet'n'sour sauce.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Evening all,

Hilstep - The wet room sounds a good idea. Glad you are doing ok :)

Been very busy today, managed to change my bed, do two lots of washing. Meet my dad for Coffee at Dobbies, Repaint my kitchen ceiling and walls, clean up afterwards and put a beef stew in the slow cooker.

Just waiting for the dumplings and I will be happy :)

Have a good evening all :)

I arrived home to find DD here with the DGC's she'd popped in to see hubby & keep him company for a while.
Tomorrow won't be such a rush as I thought, we can't book in to the hotel until after the wedding so I'll be able to potter around in the morning instead of rushing about.

Some good news today, my holiday hours have been dropped to 7.5 so I just have to go in one day early in September, just waiting to find out about my request for part time hours.

    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Late and unusual 'evening everyone'. Had a very long but wonderful day doing the 'Harry Potter' train ride. Worn out now and heading for bed in a happy mood.

Sorry to those who are not on top form, it's also good to hear of others news.

    Night.

So much for me posing everyday again! Week has run away from me.

Off to see DD and the DGDs tomorrow, staying the night so no OS going on here, or housework but the cobwebs will still be there tomorrow and the next day, while that one day will only happen once in my granddaughters lives.

Have a good weekend everyone and if I dont 'see' you before will see you Monday.

Hugs and best wishes for poorlies and sorelies xx
