Admiral renewal won't match their website quote

We have a multi car policy with Admiral. Started last year at £700 odd - renewal came through at £1200. No changes and no claims. Ran the details through their web site and got a new quote of £858.
They have to 'take it higher' to see if they can match their own price!
Anyone else had any experience of this? Or any other good companies for multi car.
Individual cheapest quotes off Confused totalled £949.

thanks for flagging this, i think most people jsut take their renewal prices for granted, and dont think to check online to validate the renewal quote, i know i wouldnt have done. Norwich Union do a multi car service not sure on their prices though. I am with Privilege, last years policy was £720, this years went down to £430!! Not sure if they made a mistake, however i must say no one has come anywherre near them on price for me, not even brokers, but i do have 10 years protected no claims though! :T
I never missed a payment :T , I paid off all my credit cards :T , I paid of all my loans :T , i have a work mobile :T - but am now "medium" credit risk

Thanks - I think we were with Privilege for a single car policy - but ditched them all for Admiral.
I don't think their quote online was too bad. For 3 cars, 1 with 25000 business mileage, another restircted to 3000 and one normal at 12,000. dh with 2 speeding fines and a claim last year (with another insurer) for paintwork damage done with a key at my work (grrrr).
I hope they can match their online quote.

Well - they were sposed to phone back with an answer - 23rd July. Got 3 letters through the post yesterday - 6th Aug saying that they were matching the online quote for the 3 cars.

So good news. But when you look at their renewal letter - big letters - NO ACTION REQUIRED - Just renew - or words to that effect. Ha they'd have been laughing with another couple of hundred quid of mine!
