I have a 3 PAYG Dongle.
Could someone please guide me, step by step, on setting it up for use in Belgium and Germany?
Thanks.

Brand name and model number? It will be written on the back or possibly inside. Otherwise, link to a picture?0

You'll need to unlock it. I'll send you instructions when I can.
Once done, you should be able to use it with any SIM.0 -
I don't want to use it with different sims.
I want to use it in Europe, specifically Belgium and Germany.
I understand it's called "Feel at home", which means you can use it in those countries, for the same cost as in the UK.
I'm just not sure how to set it up to do that :huh:0 -
It should just connect to the compatible local network. You should not need to do anything except use it the same as you do in the UK.0

Nobody has pointed out to you that Belgium & Germany are not "Feel at Home" countries. You will not be able to use it at same cost as in UK.
You can currently enjoy Feel At Home in:
Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Macau, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, USA.0 -
This is getting confusing.0

As I stated...you need to unlock it...or forget it.
Of course you can ROAM on 3 and pay £200 per GB. Up to you.
I'm guessing that you won't want to do that.0 -
NDigits is correct. I've never used this service but it may be worth looking at

Or alternatively take up ND's offer and avoid huge costs0 -
Have a look at https://www.globalgig.com/uk/en/what-can-you-do
Globalgig give you 100MB of free data from first registration usable in 40 countries worldwide. Free sim. It uses the 3 network in the UK though I wouldn't like to vouch a locked mifi/dongle would do the same on a foreign network.
Might be enough for casual secure access to banking/email etc though clearly inadequate for a hungry user and GG's add on data rates are not particularly competitive. I have exploited this successfully in France and Spain and there's more user reviews at
