Most effective/cheapest PPI reclaim companies - recomendations

Hello,

I went through all of my cards and loans etc abpout 18 months ago and was able to claim back about £80.

I've had lots of credit cards and loans but rarely selected payment protection cover on them.

I'd like to see if I missed anything (I don't think i did) and so am happy for a company to do this on my behalf as i don't want to go through the process again.

Can anyone recommend a company to use? I accept it costs money but I don't want to spend my time doing it particularly since I don't expect there to be loads there to find.

Many Thanks

You still need to provide all the info to a PPI claims company. If you're going to do that, you might as well do it yourself.

No-one on here will recommend a claims company.

Do you really think a claims company will go through your accounts making complaints on your behalf on a no-win/no fee basis? If you provide them with details of your financial institutions and they then discover you have already complained, they will bill you for wasting their time.

In addition, claims companies can only act on the information you give them, they cannot know who you banked with or had PPI with unless you tell them.

Yep no one is going to recommend that you potentially pay a company thousands when its actually free. This is money saving expert. You are complaining about the sale of it, just do a quick letter for each stating why you feel it was mis-sold and post it to each bank.

    Fair comments from you all.

How naive I was to think that they'd do some work for the money. As you say by the time I've found out the info I may as well have made the claims myself.

The adverts make it sound so easy! That's how they get you.....

    Thanks anyway
