PCN received in Wife's name

Hello,
I'm looking for a bit of advice in relation to a PCN issued by VCS that has come through today in my Wife's name.
She is the registered keeper but i was driving the vehicle.

I'm weary of sending them back the section "Notification of Driver/Hirer/Keeper details" as I've read on another post that when i come to appeal, i should only speak in the 3rd person (as the driver..no names etc). I'm worried that this will give them more ammunition in the process

Hope that makes sense?!?!

..and am i being daft or is this a genuine worry?

Well obviously she doesn't send back that section - she just appeals IN HER NAME using the template in the sticky. She's the keeper, she appeals.
