I wonder if anyone can advise me on this. I recently ordered my credit file and found the below. I have 2 defaults for the same debt on my report:mad::mad:.
I don think this is right. How can I have them removed? Are barclays allowed to sell my debt on? I have moved around a bit and cant remember if I told them I have moved. They may have sent a letter but honestly I never received it. Where should I start. In response please include links to template letters I can use.

Of course Barclays can sell your debt on if they wish. This will be detailed in the terms and conditions you accepted.0

I think your only cause for complaint based on what you've told us is that the default date for MKDP is some 20 days after the Barclaycard default date - that is not allowed and it must keep the same date. What will your verse be?

As said, default date for MDKP must be the same as the Barclays one.
Apart from that, what you have is what should be shown to you on Experian/Creditexert when a debt is sold on. The "debt assigned to CAIS member" flag indicates that it's been sold on to a company that will continue to share account information under their own name, so the 2nd entry is expected, and not seen as a separate default.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
