Multi-fuel stove help

We've now taken our gas fire out, had the pipe capped & have a lovely open fire, for the time being. Turns out our gas engineers father installs woodburners etc. Prior to getting his dad out to survey, as we have a 16"x22" traditional fireplace, he said we could install an inset multi-fuel. We already have a clay liner on the chimney & the stoves he recommended are designed to fit straight in without removing the fire chair behind. They have a letterbox flue at the back so just have to be sealed round to the front of the fire place. So far so good.
But that got me thinking after he went, how would we sweep the chimney? The stove doesn't have the traditional flue, so no brushes can get up there (letter box as I said) & our chimney goes up through the centre of the bungalow, not an outside wall. Any ideas how it can be swept?

I think the inset will have a baffle plate removable from the inside which will allow a sweep to do their thing!0

You / he will need to make sure the flue can be swept from inside the fire - if the flue cannot be accessed that way then a soot box will need to be fitted to the chimney breast somewhere.
Failure to have adequate access to a newly installed stove breaches building regs and the stove should not be signed off until access can be made for maintenance. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
