Payment via Paypal ..how long to show?

Am I correct in thinking this is a bit strange ....

I bought something on Friday and paid as usual, with in minutes by my credit card .... as its online and I was checking my banking etc I noticed it hadn't gone out of the cc. So double checked in paypal ...there are the2 usual logs ...payment from my cc and payment to the seller .

I cant say I have ever bothered to look before but thought it was quicker than this ... it was over the weekend thought perhaps thats why ....

...am just thinking out loud!!

I may have misunderstood - but it probably won't be showing on your statement yet, but will have been deducted from your "available balance". It usually takes 3-5 days to appear on the statement.

I may have completely misunderstood what you're asking though!!

When I first started using paypal it was pretty instant, however now it appears to take at least a couple of days to appear off my debit card.

Thanks .... I haven't bought anything for a month or two and I think it may well be slower now! I shall keep my eye on it,

Yes ...its showing up this morning and dated the 20th ..... yet my groceries/PO transactioins seem to there by the time I get back from doing the shopping!!
