Barclays Additions/Premier life Packaged Account

Hello All

I have been a lurker here for some time now! After being rejected for my Charges back from Barclays, I decided to try for the packaged fees that I Have had since 1993. Sent off complaint to Barclays a few weeks ago via their online complaint. Letter received from them acknowledging my complaint within 2 days. Then yesterday I Had another letter saying they would respond by November 2nd. Today had a phonecall from a nice chap asking a LOT of questions, why did I upgrade from free account to additions (was told would improve credit score as was trying to consolidate debts) then why did i change to additions plus (didn't actually know I had!) Why did I change from additions plus to premier life (was told I had to to get an overdraft) he thanked me for answering all his questions and said I would hear from them within 5 days. Is this a good thing? Will the milky bars be on me do you think??:question:

  • I had the same thing with the additions account and had the telephone conversation with Barclays. Went through it all with them regarding what I could remember etc. Within about 3 days, saw some money from them in my account and then a letter a couple of days later with a breakdown explaining everything.

    I think that where you are now is waiting for a few days, if they are going to pay you then the money lands a couple of days before the letter.

    Impossible to tell whether you will get any cash back as will be based on the answer to the questions, but I certainly found that after the telephone conversation, things moved pretty quickly
