PCN from NCP at rail station

Hi, I have read a lot of posts and your 'newbies' advice. I was issued a PCN for 'not parking correctly within the markings of a bay space' at an NCP managed car park at a railway station. I started to put together an appeal using your template but I wonder if it is a bit strong at this point and as my main appeal is that my car had only 2/3 of 1 wheel across the line (they are chunky tyres) whether I am better to appeal on line first?

Waste of time. (a) You breached their t&c (b) that's how they make an income (c) they don't do mitigation.
Just follow the tried and tested advice in the NEWBIES thread.0 -
The template is not too strong - it's written because mitigating circs don't work at all and because if you write your own version you'll go and imply who was driving...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So is this a reasonable first appeal to the PPC
I am given to understand that the PCN was issued for a breach of terms and conditions which cover the parking at this car park. I challenge this 'PCN' as keeper of the car, on the following grounds:
The specific contravention was that of “Not parked correctly within the marking of the bay space”. I believe that the signage regarding the requirement to park completely within a bay and the possible action you would take is insufficient, the risk of a charge is not transparent. The sum you are charging does not represent a genuine pre-estimate of loss, nor is it a core price term. It is an unrecoverable penalty and not commercially justified.
There doesn't seem to be much space in the on-line box although it is expandable.0 -
Yes that's fine!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
