Post Office Credit card

I did a balance transfer to an interest free PO credit card earlier this year.

We moved house, I sent in a change of address to them, they froze the account until I had sent a confirmation signed at the Post Office to verify my change of address which I duly did. They said they would send me a new pin number, why I do not know as I have never used the card. The pin number arrived last week after about a months wait, good job I did not want to use the card!!

Last night I tried to get into my account and check the balance, no statements sent since August, still could not get in. Spoke to some guy in Ireland who I could barely hear or understand, he said he had unlocked the account and to try in an hour. Still cannot get in, tried again this morning......forget it.......its driving me crazy. I am wanting to do a BT away from them but cannot get in to get figures.....if I try to do a transfer will they muck that up too???? Alarm bells should have rung when I saw the finding bank was the Bank of Ireland..............

I am also having much trouble with Post Office. After reading money saving expert, I applied for a balance transfer credit card in June 2014. It is now coming to end of October 2014 and they still haven't confirmed anything in writing. However, each time I have phoned them since August (a total of 4 times), they have assured me it is in process and was approved!
My current interest free credit card is now ended and I am being charged. I thought June - October would have been enough time to set up and transfer to another credit card.
I would strongly suggest steering clear of Post office until they get their house in order.
I would also suggest that Money Saving Expert doesn't recommend them without adding an approximate "time to transfer" guide to allow extra time for those foolish enough to apply to Post Office!

Pardon me in advance in case I have broke any forum rules. Just wanted to share this so others are not in the same boat as I. I thought Post Office would be a reputable place to get a credit card and have lost money for assuming 3 months was enough time for a balance transfer! I have applied and held many credit cards and this is the first time that I have come across such slow and unhelpful credit card company. Usually 3 months is more than enough time.
