Think they are starting up and may in the future charge, but for now it is a free lunch :)

No, I have not tried them out, as it will break my current setup.

Would suggest signing up using https://fakena.me or similar, as you can't trust anyone these days.

Seems very suspicious to me. Their twitter feed and FB account also. I wouldn't go near this if I were you.

I'm neither suspicious or not per se of this company, but VPN is exactly where you'd position a MITM attack if you had nefarious motives.

Give it 10 years and It'll be a choice between VPN and a highly filtered, sanitised and commercialised internet. They started the ball rolling a few years ago, nobody stood up to them, its too late now....... VPN is the future of internet freedom.

So we/HMG ban VPN's except for (expensive) business grade tariffs then.
    Its not difficult

Froot VPN is as about legit as you can get for free.
they have some credibility by being promoted by Pirate Bay
Based in Sweden they have different data retention laws (i.e. they are not legally required to hold ANY type of data activity log)

They are one of the newer FreeVPN's on the block that have sprang up in Sweden in the past few years.

Personally, think the above link is perfect, providing you treat it as untrusted, so I would access no emails, bank or other passworded or personal information while using it, but normal surfing should be fine. Think the company is just too new to be totally trusted at the mo.

There are already stories about banning vpn, and blocking their IPs. To an extent this is already happening. From my PC I can get the my company mail, but not through my vpn, and there are quite a few sites already that will not accept my vpn provider, like autotrader.co.uk, from which I can't even search on, but if i go through the free browser vpn on Epic Security Browser, then that works for autotrader, not for my work email. Gmail have even suspended my account and I was forced to hand over a phone number all due to using a vpn.

Think the future is a global decentralized mesh network similar to Hyperboria

I've got a few that I use on rotation. FreeVPN's and one paid for that I buy bandwidth from time to time.

I use them for different things! one for banking, other for region blocked sites and services.

Also use VPN on my mobile if I connect to public WiFi's when out and about (you would not believe how many fake "BT-Fon" and other free providers people set up to steal your info.)

Look, free VPNs are not safe for users because it only gives 128 bits protection although mostly people love to use free vpns but they don't know the cons of it as has less features. Comparatively, PureVPN's UK VPN Service has bunch of features with low cost and i must say it would also provide an extra layer of protection with it's best encryption feature of 256-bit Data Encryption and Multiple Protocols.

Hmm, As it would take a super computer 1 BILLION BILLION years to brute force crack 128bit encryption (Trying every iteration) presuming you are talking about AES. It can be cracked quicker (phew) using different methods, but you are still talking decades ..

From your other posts i would say you are a spammer building post counts .. Time will tell
  • I managed to set up my own VPN with a router from eBay and a fixed IP from PlusNet. I use it a lot for when I go abroad and use public WiFi spots.
