They just ask you to sign up to their mailing list.

Oh well, I just decided to sign up also even though it does say that sign-up closed 19 October. Maybe they changed it but didn't change their T&Cs. This is the wording:
Terms & Conditions:

One free gift per household whilst stocks last.
Sign up closes on 19th October 2014, and you must sign up for our VIP program when collecting gift.
Offer collection valid until Sunday 2 November 2014.
Offer valid at participating UK and Ireland L’Occitane owned boutiques only and is not available at wholesale partners such as department stores, airports or our outlet boutiques.
Offer not open to L’Occitane staff.
L’Occitane reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time.



Good offer. The only thing is the fact that it says 'while stocks last or 2nd November'. Hopefully by the time I get to the city next week, they will still have them. You would think because you have to choose the store, then you get an email confirmation which you take with you, along with ID, that they would keep the required claimed number aside until you arrive for it. With there not being a lot of L'Occitane stores around, many people may have to make a special trip so it would be a shame if this was a wasted trip although most people, like myself, will possibly make it a day out and do some more shopping at the same time. Not worth paying the train fare just for this offer lol. Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone and hope you get your 'reserved' freebie! Thanks OP! :T
