I have recently been given an original Playstation with memory card which I understand can be used to save where you are in a game before you are killed.
Trouble is I have no idea how to get the card to work. Any ideas please or anyone know where I can find instructions online?
Thanks.

You have to find save points within the game.. There are very few games that have an on demand saving system on the PS1
As long as the card is in the memory card slot you can start up the PS1 without any disk in and you will be able to access the memory card to check what sv e games there are and how much space you have left as well as delete old save games0
