In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. I bought a house paid cash on 3rd October 2014.
When will my name be on Land Registry as owner of house? I need to prove ownership. I have asked my solicitor but not yet had reply.
Thank you

Timescales can vary and we are experiencing some delays re certain types of application at present
Average registration times are roughly 5 to 6 weeks at present providing everything is in order. However some can be dealt with in a matter of days.
You can contact us with teh specific details and we should be able to confirm the date of receipt and advise re timescales although this would normally be part of the dialogue your solicitor would be having if there was an urgency attached to the registration for example“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Land Registry. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -

Thank you we sent you details and was very pleased to receive a response within hours. The delay was definitely not the fault of your department but was caused by solicitor failing to pass on details.
Thank you :j0
