M & S Credit Card points help

Hello all,

This is my first post on here so please bare with with.

Im getting married next August and we decided to get our cake from Marks and Spencer.
To save money we took out a credit card with M & S where you had to spend either £2500 or £3500 in 3 months of opening the card to get 20,000 bonus points which we worked out to be £200 towards our Wedding Cake. I called today to ask about the points having spent about 7k in total to see where the points where and was told they have never done this offer???????

We went with M & S rather than American Express or Sainsburys who where both offering either 20,000 airmiles or 20,000 nectar points to get this large points bonus towards the cake and when i check online now for the offer i can still find nectar and airmiles offers but no M&S points offers?

Does anybody have any info about the points offer or have an M & S card that they took out in June/July time this year where they have got this offer?

Any help would be great as we are not sure what to do know???:(

If you haven't already you can check how many points you have, by logging onto the online account.

M&S money off vouchers are only sent every few months. If the card, was taken out in July and you haven't received any points so far, then it's possible that the vouchers are still to come.

I must say that £200 worth of vouchers for £2500 or £3500 would be extremely generous, I have spent over £10k in the past few years and only had about £100 worth of vouchers.

Hopefully someone can give some definite advice, but if you pursue it, do let us know the outcome.

Yes ive checked online and i can see the points we have earned from normal spending are there which is fine.

When i phoned yesterday they said we are due some vouchers this month for what we have spent which is fine.

Its just the introductry points offer of 20,000 bonus points that we are missing. I checked with my better half and she to confirms that there was this offer as we wouldnt of taken out this card for any other reason but to gain the points for the cake

Hi BIGARD,

I took out an M&S credit card for the same purpose earlier in the year and I have to say that I have never seen an offer like this. The most I seen was 1000 points for car insurance if you pay with your credit card but nothing as rewarding as 20,000 points.

I switched my current account to them and received £100 voucher which means I now have enough for my cake!

Yep we did that too, and changed the sky account to get another £50.00 there to.
i just cant seem to find the bonus points offer anywhere???
