As Terry says, if you take charge of your bills by checking your meter regularly, sending the information to your suppliers and correcting any over or under estimated bills you should not end up with significant over or under payments.
You cannot justifiably complain that your direct debits are either to high or too low if you don't do anything about it.
Suppliers can only guess what you are going to use it's up to you to make sure your bills & direct debits reflect your consumption.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
I know it's my own fault for not sending in regular readings, and tbh i'm not that bothered as I just claim it back and it's a nice boost, but you would think that if you were £800 on credit the previous year there would be no need for an increase in your monthly payments.0
