:mad: :mad: ABSOLUTELY FUMING!! Steam coming out of my ears!
Let me just say I'm writing this now as I'm just waiting for a valium to kick in and my blood pressure is 162 over (diastolic )110 which ive just checked with my home bp machine (which incidentally cost me £20 pound ''Boots own brand'' reduced from £40 (something to watch out for al you bargain hunters) if you need a bp automatic machine..anyhow I digress...
so let me get to the point!! I shall title this the company who is trying to run before it can walk!! Full stop!
So..
Never in my life have I had such immensly painfully bad service frim a company that is so called professional! I ordered a simcard from them (I'll abbreviate as TPO) online and specifically asked for a mi ro sim card for my Galaxy s5 but a few days maybe 4 to 5 days later I receive the sim so I thought yey I can activate this when my contract ends and when I get back off my 2 weeks holiday..
The same day I went on to my online account to find 4.99 had been taken by the TPO.. so after not even putting the simcard in my mobile or registering it I phoned them to see why they had billed me and to explain that I ordered it while the deal was on their website at 4.99 for 2 months then 14.99 thereafter for unlimited text calls and 3 gig data
The women (sorry I'm not going to use the word lady in this case) I spoke to said yes sir we take the money out your account straight away when ypu order the sim to stop people from using it and not paying.. now surely you would think that they would charge the 4.99 upon registration but no, they do not operate that way!!
Anyhow... After going round in circles and speaking to someone with broken English we finally came to an agreement that the money would be refunded to my account and if I wished to start a new 30 day rolling contract with them at anytime then I can do this in the future..
At this point humming and arring I thought well they donate 10% of each customers bill per month to charity.. (TPO) pay this every 3 months to the charity of your choice.. I opted for the RSPCA being a huge animal lover.. I decided I would wait for a new correct card to come out ''Micro sim'' as apposed to nano after ringing again and asking for a correct sim as they sent me a nano and no adaptor so the card didn't even fit in my phone '''useless service'''!!
I've ran out of space explaining this saga so I shall add more in my next post..

TPO saga no.2
So after going onto their website to look for their number again I saw the deal was now £3.39 for 3 months then 14.99 a month I thought great I'll opt for that and asked the women at TPO could I go on that deal when my new sim comes as apposed to the previous 4.99 for 2 months.. YES sir she said no problemo you can do this when ur new correct sim arrives and upon registering it as I'd cancelled the last deal.. she said we won't change your number we shall just send a replacement sim.
This sim came 3 days later and all happy I phoned 2 register and was told sorry ypu can't have that 3.39 deal now sadly it's gone upto 4.49 for 2 months then 14.99 thereafter!! Well excuse my language ladies but FML the amount changed 3 times in the space of a month.. I actually was in a head spin at this point and didn't know if I was coming going or been..
So I said your colleague who sent me the replacement sim told me I could have the 3.39 deal and ask upon registration so please could you award this or put me onto your manager.. ''no managers here I'm afraid'' She said and I'll look into it and call you back.. 2 days later after no callback I received an email.. It reads '' we have looked into this matter and sorry to say you now have to join up with the newest cough cough NEWEST! !??? What's next £1.50 for 6 months then 14.99 a month?? They change their prices more times than I change my boxers.. well ok maybe that's not totally correct.. sorry their practicell is rubbing off on me now and I am missinforming you guys but basically they were saying no in the email and would i like to cancel my original 4.99 deal i joined up with??'! What the hell?? I hadn't even registered or used the sim and told them on 2 previous occasions I'd like the 4.99 refund..
I then opened up the post/mail to be told by my bank I had a £10 Chare as TPO had tried taking 17p out my acount. . Fuming!!
And can I just say I've just this minute received a call from a crass women saying I shall be getting a refund within 5 working days and after telling her im recording the conversation and I've written a post on here I asked how much will i be getting back and she hung up.. i can abd will prove this by uploading the voice call to youtube or via an mp3 site and add the link just so you people can actually see what they are like.. shes basically ledt me hanging and didn't give me the amount theyre refunding me!! Absolutely disgusting... Please believe every word of this people and it's freedom of speech act and not slander as I have 100 percent peoof from calls and emails..
Never again will I go near this company!!
And I still haven't finished as I've been told that I will be charged for this month im assuming 14.99 as I've activated my card and made a chargeable call.. absolute lies as it turns our my phone is locked and needs to be opened to their network so how could I have made a call?
So that's 4.99 plus 17p then 11.00 and told today a furather 14.99 so inxs of 30 pound for a service I've never had.. unbelievable.. and the staff are crass rude, unprofessional and contradict one another..
I think this is actually a matter for trading standards!! #TPO #THEPEOPLESOPERATOR #FAILED! !!0 -
I shall amend the above statements and correct the spellings as I've written it quickly and my s5 autocorrect has a mind of its own and I now have to get on today.. another few hours wasted due to this company and I had to draft this post and get my voice/opinion across as it's helped me to destress and hopefully warning to others..
Join at your own peril is all I can say and if you're already with them and had no problems your the lucky one but I wouldn't hold your breath as not wanting to tempt fate but no doubt something will go wrong in the future.. so unprofessional and incompatent beyond belief
I'll let you know the outcome and update you when I get my full refund in 5 months. Oops sorry i meant 5 days!! Or did I?

I'm not sure how much bad service you've had in your life but I don't see too much bad in your posts.

Hi Jemma. Thanks for your comment.. I've had the odd mess around bad service from various companies in my time like virgin and even my bank of late but nothing compares to this
Apparently I've been told since my post im just getting 14.99 pound back refund from them.. 4.99 join up and 10 pound bank charge.. not sure about the other outstanding 15 buy i did say I think it's only fair you give me 30 for all the anguish and stress and the women said I'll look into it and get straight back to you with the outcome..
That was hours ago now since my last comment on here..
Maybe I'll get a floating email in a few days when they've collaborated and decided what's happening with this horrible saga..
I only mainly stuck in there cause of the supposed 30% they give to charitable causes each quarter which ive now been told is actually 10% per quater.
Seriously like with their prices going up and down left right and centre i don't know if I'm artha or martha... 😨😨 but neither do TPO either it seems
Complete and utter nightmarewhich I wish I'd never got involved in or seen their advert now
I just want a refund now and compensating 4 time/phonecalls and the anguish/stress!!0 -
I know that this post is almost two years old, but just in case anyone else has the same issue... TPO *does* send you a micro SIM. You have to pop it out of the casing.0
