Terms and conditions


1. The Visit Sweden prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over.
2. The Prize Draw is not open to employees or agencies of Guardian News & Media Limited (“GNM”), their group companies or family members or anyone else connected to the Prize Draw.
3. Entry into the Prize Draw is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4. To enter the Prize Draw you must enter your details as above. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Prize Draw, please email clare.kneeshaw.freelance@guardian.co.uk with “Visit Sweden prize draw” in the subject line.
5. Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. You are responsible for the cost (if any) of sending your Prize Draw entry to us.
6. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
7. The Prize Draw closes at 23:59 on December 22nd 2014. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered. The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries. One winner will receive the prize of one six-night Road Trip holiday for two including the following:

• Flights from the UK to Copenhagen for two people
• Train travel for two people from Copenhagen to Malmo
• Car hire in Sweden for the duration of your stay
• Overnight accommodation and breakfast for two people at Mayfair Hotell Tunneln in Malmo
• Overnight accommodation and breakfast for two people at Ystad Saltsjobad in Ystad
• Overnight accommodation and breakfast at the Grand Hotel Molle in Molle on Kullaberg
• Two nights accommodation and breakfast for two people at Avalon Hotel in Gothenburg
• Overnight accommodation and breakfast for two people at Strandfilckorna in Lysekil
• Oyster Safari for two people. Including a visit a mussel farm; picking oysters; 3-course dinner at restaurant “Norra Hamnen 5“

8. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School Holidays and Bank Holidays (UK, Denmark and Sweden).
9. Departure airport used will be dependent on the direct availability from the winners nearest available international airport, which may not necessarily be the closest. Non UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges.
10. Train from Copenhagen to Malmo must be off peak and booked a minimum of 6 weeks in advance.
11. For car hire, driver must be over the age of 25 and have held a full clean driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years. Fully inclusive refers to unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, local taxes and airport fees. Driver must also hold a valid credit card (not debit card) with a minimum of £500 available for security deposit, which is refundable upon safe return ofthe vehicle.
12. Hotels are classed as a 4-5 Star and is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (winner’s choice) with ensuite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis.
13. Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.
14. The prize must be booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
15. The winner will be notified by phone or email on or before 10th January, 2015 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to GNM within 28 days of being notified by GNM, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner (and that winner will have to respond to the phone call or email from GNM within 28 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). The winner and all those travelling in the party must hold valid passports with at least 6 months validity on date of departure.
16. Details of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Guardian Creative, Guardian News & Media Limited, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9GU.
17. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
18. GNM retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
19. The winner may be required for promotional activity.
