PLC to LTD and shares - Help!

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could advise me? (I hope I'm in the right place!)
I've recently unconvered a share certificate from 2007, that shows me I have 3,900 share in "Payzone PLC". I haven't bothered with these for a long time....obviously! When looking on the Internet, I've found that Payzone is now a limited company, and has been for a couple of years. Where do I stand with this? Can I get any money for these shares, or are they not worth the paper they're printed on?
Any advice would be welcome.
Rich

They're not worth anything other than you could perhaps frame them and put them on the wall as a reminder of the risks of investing in small businesses and not keeping tabs on what's happening to them.
The receivers were called in and as the assets weren't worth the 300m of senior debt, it had to be restructured in 2010 ; assets sold off to Duke Street (a PE firm) who put more money in and restructured the debt. Nothing left for the existing shareholders whose shares were cancelled when it was de listed0
