Living social book by dates

Hi
I bought a voucher recently for a two-person cookery course and made a note of the expiry date - November 18th. A couple of days ago I tried to book it, only to be told that the voucher was past its book-by date. Sure enough, when I checked in the small print there is a book-by date, a month before the expiry date, but I didn't see this before. I missed the book by date by 24 hours! The cookery course say they would honour it, but they can't as they won't be paid by living social and living social haven't answered my email.
Can anyone advise? It seems so sneaky to have a book by date as well as an expiry date! They must catch so many people out!
Is there a living social person on this forum sometimes? I'm just wondering if someone can give me any advice and if there is any chance I might still be able to use my voucher, as it has almost another month to go til expiry.
It cost me £75
and I can't believe I've wasted that money. I'm really cross with myself for not checking the small print, but I didn't think to as I knew the expiry date.
