DId you do a market survey? Perhaps online?

I'd be careful with these 0800 numbers, although they are free calls the sales people are very good at their jobs and you may not be strong enough to say no and could end up spending hundreds of pounds into a timeshare.

Are you strong enough to make that call?

yes - this is exactly what happened to me tonight. I had a phone call from Club La Costa saying I had won a week in Europe for 4 people, quick mention of £29.50 then he said could I go to a 4 star hotel in southampton on 3rd August all paid for by them, then myself and OH could watch a promotional dvd.

he seemed surprised I wasn't whooping for joy and I asked him to put the info in the post. It sounds like a con and I won't be going - I believe the whole thing is to get me to buy a timeshare type deal ?

Followed by 5 hours of pressure sales, before you know it you have bought 40 points for £3,000 which will entitle you to a week at Butlins in November.
