Will this cause any issues with the laser printer?

I want to purchase the printer below but am not sure whether setting it up with a wireless adapter will impact performance in anyway as it does not have built in wireless capability.

The main thing that comes to mind is that will this slow down printing massively as every print activity must go through the wireless adapter and then to the printer..do I need factor in anything else at all? Many thanks in advance

I am assuming you have a decent wireless network to attach this to...

Unless you are printing hundreds of individual documents or something that is huge then you'll have no issues, you may not hit that 10 seconds for the first page out but you shouldn't be too far short of it.

Needs to be a print server WiFi adapter, not just any old 'dongle' type - you'll need to check out compatibility. Dunno if you'll get too many clues from Samsung as they flog an (internal) adapter as an option for £125... http://www.printerland.co.uk/Wireless-Network-Option-P114361.aspx?source=AddwordsML-NWA65L/SEE&gclid=CImMzriNwMECFabLtAodhx0AhA

No chance of running a cable from your router to the printer?

On the good side, I've had its great great great great grandad (CLP-500) for around 10 years - obviously no good for photo printing, but has been excellent for the standard business-type docs. I run it through a wired print server and use toner refills (you've probably already gasped at the price of original toner carts...).
