Ok so after applying about a week ago got a letter today saying been turned down, wasn't rejected on screen but they said they would send out the decision.

Who else shall I try? I have a couple of grand on higher rate accs capital one, barclaycard initial, vanquis and aqua and want to get some of it onto 0% balance transfer.

Thought id try virgin as i now have no defaults on my file they are all gone but I have been turned down by them.

I have checked my equifax & experian its all good apart from i missed 1 credit card payment on one card in may.

Who shall I try next? Don't want to just try loads at random because of the amount of searches it will leave me with.

thanks in advance

Have you tried Natwest .They are offering 13 months at 0% They just accepted me ...So there standards can't be that high .There is a link on here somewhere on the credit card section....Good luck.

  • we've been turned down too, but ok everywhere else. we think it is because virgin is acctually mbna and we have several cards already with them with credit limits in excess of 20,000, although we have not used them!!
