Hi,
1st post - please be gentle.
Had a phishing letter from rossers like others on here regarding to an alleged debt from years ago.
General advice on here was to robustly respond or ignore. So I sent them a letter debt is denied, refer back to client and now received a response saying account now hold for x days and want me to provide details of the dispute?
Would be grateful for any advice on what to do next.
Thanks in advance.

By ignoring them you make them think that they've either got a cold lead, or a person who isn't troubled by their empty bully threats By responding you've shown them you are "there" and that they bother you
Better to ignore from now on UNLESS the Parking Scam Company itself starts real court action. Then you seek help here and engage.
Note that the debt company can bluster and bluff and bully all it wants. However it CANNOT do more than this at present. Only the parking company can start court action and if they did (a very small if) you would get proper papers to warn you.
It's all a mind game right now.Sphinx-2000 wrote: »Hi,
