Is this spam or is it just me?

Had a message through eBay messages regarding a current auction-type listing. It's listed as free postage to be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class small parcel.
The message asks would I use a courier store-store service, then tells me how the system works, provides a direct link so I can check for local participating stores and tells me how much it will cost (incidentally the Royal Mail service is cheaper).
No explanation as to why the potential buyer is suggesting this - e.g. they are not at home to receive parcels, etc.
It may be a genuine query but given the lack of 'personal' content to my mind it reads as spam.
I'll send a polite reply but does anyone else get this and should it be reported as spam?

If it came via ebay messages it will be a genuine message, as to the content, only you can decide if it's spam. If you do report it, I would ensure you block the potential bidder from buying.

Does sound somewhat 'spammy' in nature from the way you've described it.

Doubt eBay will do much if you do/can manage to report it given my experience of trying to contact them the last few times.
