Ebay resolution centre message glitch

Another ebay moan. Maybe there should be a sticky called 'Ebay seller support thread'

Another buyer opens a case for INR. Fair enough, Ebay more or less forces people to open cases now.
I responded in the polite and friendly way that is our standard offering refund or replacement.
Then I scroll down and it says:
Oct. 21 :You sent a message
Comments:I have spoke to eBay they have said I have no reason to refund you as your item has been tracked and shows it has been delivered.

I DIDN'T WRITE THAT!

I had to send another message to buyer to apologise. Currently in queue for live chat. GRRR!

And we've now lost our top rated status. :mad:

    When I was on the phone to them the other day to sort an INR case for which the item had been signed for and the tracking on Royal Mail confirmed delivery, cs read out a tracking number that was attached to this dispute that was not even the one I had put in. I could see clearly on my screen the one I put in was correct but they were picking up another one which had nothing to do with my item. All was sorted eventually but I still have a defect.
  • It's mad isn't it. You'd think a company that takes 100s from sellers every month could take their IT seriously.

    Indeed. Customer services passed me from pillar to post. Gave up in the end.
