Getting parking sensors fitted
Anyone any tips on this? I want rear sensors. I don't want to risk fitting them myself. I googled and this is one of the top results -

£149 all in. Is this good? Or can a regular local garage fit them cheaper (better?)?

As above, kits can be had very cheaply and are a doddle to fit if you are even slightly handy. Drill requisite holes in the bumper, attach wires to reversing light feed and earth, finito.
If you could get a kit for £20 as above, it would take a decent mechanic under an hour to fit them.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
What do you need parking sensors for? Just reverse slowly and stop as soon as there is resistance; that's what bumpers are for.0

They are VERY easy to fit, do you have anyone who could do it, no complicated wiring and cheap kit comes with special drill and clear instructions. I did it on our Juke, took 20 mins. and the kit cost £13.0

Try fitting them to a Mazxda 6...0

If you dont fancy drilling holes in the bumper there are licence plate mounted ones. screw the license plate on over them and run a few wires inside.

An example, not a recommendation
Also worth looking at reversing cameras (again not expensive) as these kits can be all internal.0 -
Why not approach a driving instructor / school for a few lessons & admit to them that you're not confident with your parking?
I feel this would be a far better, cheaper & safer approach because they would also have the opportunity to check your situational & spatial awareness in general.0
