Council PCN - Loading bay

Unbelievable, only the other week the misses gets a parking ticket and now me...doh.
This one is my own fault, admittedly. I had read the sign as "Mon-Thu Midnight - 6PM loading only" and had missed the little Friday underneath, which I believe means loading only Mon-Fri 24hr, then midnight to 6PM on Friday. Oh well, stupid me...made sense at the time as no-where was really open so I thought it was okay to park there.
Funny story is I took loads of pictures of the sign / car and loading bay, until I realised...lol.
Anyhow, instead of dribbling on - the newbie post that I'm using for the misses parking ticket only talks about private parking notices. But this is a "council" one by the bristol city council, that is not the same private type ones right? Will the newbie thread idea work to deal with these?
Best way to get out of this, or just pay it?

NO - definitely not.
But as we major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Here's your link:

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate).
PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
HTHPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks, yeah it's what I thoguht that all the info here was for private tickets - and this didn't seem like a private ticket from the council.
I've gone to the site, registered - read a couple of examples of people asking for help and followed the template.
Thanks for the tip.0 -
