I recently applied for and received one of these cards, in part to use the 18 month's credit at 0% interest. When I received the card, the T's and C's indicated that this did not apply to my card. AMEX tell me that this was because I apparently applied directly through their own website rather than through the link from MSE.
It seems that they have two sets of T's and C's depending which website you use. They are now unwilling to revert.
In addition I have discovered that some outlets will not accept this card including the local council and B&Q.
I believe that this card should carry a health warning. Any thoughts?

Nonsense. Did you read the T&Cs before hitting the apply button? The MSM site clearly states that the 0% 18 month deal is exclusive to them and the summary box on the Amex UK site states that there is no introductory 0% 18 month spending bonus.
Having held one of these since July this year, I've only been told it's not accepted a handful of times. If you shop at main retailers you'll find the majority of them accept Amex - not sure if your spending habits are the same. See http://www.whoacceptsamex.co.uk/
I have also made over £100 in CB due to the introductory offer and ongoing CB incentive.
You're fortunate to live in an area where your council accepts CC payments at all.0
