PsHi all,
My o/h and I are in temporary housing due to a homeless situation.
We have been matched for a H/O house.
We have had our interview and now they are asking for bank statements and a financial form.
We don't recieve any benefits and work.
Does anyone know if this is the norm?
Many thanks for your time x

My brother and his family recently got a Housing Assiciation property. He works and was asked to provide bank statements.0

Brilliant thankyou so much for your reply x0

Did they tell him what they needed it for? Or is it just routine because we work?0

I'm not sure. It might just have been a similar check that a private LL would do to make sure he could afford the property.0

Maybe it's to ensure you're not making mortgage payments on a different property whilst receiving rent for it.
You would be surprised how many people have tried it on."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Some HAs have different tenancies for different income groups.0
