...would I need to fit some coving round the top of the room? Would it be a decorator, handyman or someone that does plastering and artexing?

Its normally a plasterer that puts up coving.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Any one of the three who actually knows how to do it. Plasterers put up some coving in my lounge and parts of it came loose after a few years. My next door neighbour gave me a hand to re-fix it and it has stayed up very well ever since.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
As 27col has said, anyone of your suggestions as long as they know what they are doing. I know of decorators who put up coving but then again I know a few who wouldn't consider it.
Plasters round here wont usually consider it as part of their remit probably because they can make more money plastering.Thoughts:

It's usually a straight forward job, if you don't fancy doing it yourself see who's cheapest, probably a handyman0
