Headlamp adjustment in Europe

My previous cars have had clear markings for dipped beam masking, but the latest - a Citroen C3 Picasso - has the headlamp set back within a shaped clear outer dome. The only marker is a small "+" roughly central to the headlamp.

One company - Eurolites - seems to have a dominant position in selling masking discs/teardrops sold by Halfords/AA/RAC and others and it publishes online a long list of which positioning to use. The list refers to its diagram but I cannot locate the diagram available online after a lot of Googling.

Anyone aware of a URL for this diagram. It should be relatively easy to fashion the relevant shape from duct tape rather than shelling out extra £s for day trip this week?

  • If the car's fitted with Xenon headlamps or projector lamps, it may well be that there is an adjustment lever fitted to the lamp units which can be used to change the beam pattern for continental use. Worth asking your Citroen dealer if that is the case.
