So 'I think' is just your opinion unfounded in fact as you have no idea why claims companies include anything in their advertising0 -

My concern is that these claims do not seem to be true.
I cite as an authority David Cresswell of FOS answering two questions on the BBC news website:
Question: "I am unsure if I was charged PPI on a loan and a mortgage. Now I do not know if I should contact one of these ads on the TV or not and what kind of information you need. I have had a mortgage that is up in six years that I have had for 10 years or more. I also had a loan for a car, that is now just paid off, that I took out five years ago. What should be my next step?" Howard Smith, Edinburgh.
Answer: "If you have PPI on a loan or mortgage it is likely to be on your original agreement."
Question: "Where if anywhere will the PPI show up on my credit card statement or is it hidden?" Nigel, Epsom.
Answer: If you have PPI on a credit card it should be clear from your statements.
It is typically charged monthly and should be itemised.
These can be found here.
I am inclined to think that FOS is right on this.0 -
I've just discovered how refreshing the "Ignore" function of this website is.:A0

.
So that's your opinion then and you are completely at liberty to hold it and profess it or not. The questions you post from FOS do not address the question was PPI hidden from my knowledge at the point of sale.0 -

and yet you choose to post the information0 -

If the Law allowed that, I could speculate that you have taken a "hidden" payment of £1 million from my bank account and, since you cannot prove you did not, you must "return" to me.0 -

No, they don't address the question directly therefore are tangential to the point raised. The point again comes back to, has there never ever been a case a when PPI was sold and the consumer was not told it was included in the repayment and the adviser did not send all the paperwork?
I thought moneyineptitude has hit the ignore function on this thread.0
