Final meter reading
Just a query really...i recently switched energy supplier on a dual fuel deal.My old company scottish power say they have'nt received my final electric reading from my new supplier(they have the gas reading).New supplier have said its been sent to them and is on the national database. Its been around 4 weeks since the switchover.
They wont refund my exisiting credit until they have the final meter reading.
I will ring scottish power again in the next day or 2.
What happens in this situation?Do i have any options to tell my old supplier?ombudsman?

It is totally the responsibility of your new supplier to sort out meter readings with Scottish Power.
Get a letter/email from new supplier(copied to Scottish Power) confirming those meter readings.
If Scottish Power refuse to act on that information, go to ombudsman.0
