Sliding door wardrobes advice

Hi all,

I'm after a bit of advice on sliding door wardrobes please, more specifically costs of said things.

We've been renovating an old house over the last 6 months and finally getting to the end of the awful bit and onto looking at furniture :)

Turns out our bedroom isn't big enough to get a normal wardrobe (as in I mean conventional doors opening outwards) plus side tables and bed. The only way we can do it is getting wardrobes with sliding doors.

Having looked into this I can't believe how expensive they are plus I think they are pretty ugly and a bit cheap looking even given how much you have to pay. Anyone had experience at buying this type of wardrobe and advice about getting the costs down would be gratefully received!

Thanks in advance
Nico
