I take it you mean the home page in WPS itself? Only if you have that option selected.....The other option is to open to 'New document', it then opens as just that....
Admittedly it was a couple of years back.
I don't recall there being any option to avoid the link back to WPS (Kingsoft) webpage.
Where can I find this option?Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Tools - Options - General & Save. Set "Start with" (last item on the dialogue) to "New document".
The current version of WPS never opens a web link on startup.0 -
As fenlander say's, it's in the tools.....As far as I know, it's always been there...Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

espresso, can I ask you or rather tell you something.
I bought an ipad a few months ago (even though I have this laptop). Even now, there is a lot I have to learn about what I can do with it. Something I learnt quickly is that there is an app called appsgonefree which I subscribe to. I found a couple that were to my liking, used them and made a post on the ipad forum referencing them.
Next thing I knew was that I'd been banned for spamming. I have been waiting for such an example as you've just given, by telling someone they are spamming, when to me, all they are doing, is bringing to the attention that particular feature.
Being old (very), I have taken to using the web a lot, when people I know of the same age, say things like "I couldn't get my brain round that".
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the web all about learning and communication and sharing information?. That being so, if I decide a website I've read about or stumbled across is something I'd like to share, is that deemed as spamming?.
Further to that bann, I have exchanged emails with the manager/moderator who said the bann has been lifted and they'd acted hastily.
The fact remains though, if anyone as dares to highlight or mention in passing a website or feature, they do so with fingers crossed?.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Simply read the forum rules that you agreed to abide by when joining:Why have I been banned for "advertising", my username was my website's name?
No-one should use their website's name, web address or email address as their username.
Why was my post about my company/site/blog/offer deleted?
MoneySavingExpert.com is a free site - you cannot pay to buy advertising space - one of the reasons why so many people use it! Equally, you're not allowed to advertise any goods, services and/or companies anywhere on the forum, or through private messages, no matter how honourable your intentions.
'Advertising' includes touting for business; asking people to contact you; posting e-mail addresses which indicate a web address; linking to sites or blogs you or friends are involved with (whether you’re selling something or not); or linking to your eBay or other auction sales.
All posts which we consider to be advertising will be removed where reported.
This poster made their first banal post at 14:28 and then added ten more spam posts by 14:50. Surely even you can see that this is just advertising? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I see and to a degree, agree. Rarely do I look at names of people who post, even rarer do I look at profiles. Looking at and taking into consideration what you say, I too am inclined to fall on the side of suspicion and ulterior motive. The only time I do take note of an individual is when they offer advice which I would like to follow, simply to see if they have a good "pedigree", ie lots of posts and many thanks, that suggests to me, they know what they're talking about. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
