hello sabelu
only old steiff bears are worth buying, new ones do not hold value, we have some 14 years old and i would not get my money back if i sold them now. tried to sell then at bonhams auctions in london who told us they would be of little value.
best wishes julie0 -
Hi Sabelu......I buy and sell Steiff Bears and it's partly true that old bears hold their value better. I have some recent ones that have sky-rocketed in value and others that haven't. Danbury Mint ones tend not to hold their value so well - at least the ones I've had. Do some research on ebay as it's a great indicator of how much bears go for.
A good place for help and advice is also Sue Pearsons - in Brighton I think - who I've bought from a few times. They give great advice and have some interesting stuff on their website.0
