Low water pressure in bathroom

Hi, I bought a studio and find that the water pressure in the bathroom is very low, basically it is important to have a shower, the water just dripping down. A plumber suggested either to put in a shower pump or change the immersion heater to a JAB unvented cylinder 125litre. However he said the shower pump only last about 5-6 years and is noisy, but to install a new cylinder it will cost a lot of money. Is there any other way that I could get the water pressure that I need for a shower? I have read some other thread mentioned the electric shower. Would the electric shower increase the water pressure? Any idea, how much is it to install a electric shower?

An electric shower requires mains pressure water, but produces much less hot water than a hot water cylinder.
If the plumber says a pump is suitable (not all cylinders are really suitable for them) then that is likely to be the best way. It shouldn't be noisy if correctly installed on sound-deadening pads.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
