Does owning other property have any affect on Credit Rating?

I have assets well in excess of my debts. eg: a mortgage free property other than my residential address. I have recently been declined a Credit Card for which I was rated as being 90% likely for acceptance.
All my monthly payments are by Direct Debit.
Is it of any relevance to a Credit Agency that I have property assets other than my residential address?

Being a home owner does have some effect - only because it's a sign of stability.
All CRAs keep history of your debts only. None keeps any information on your assets. Lenders usually don't care/ask either unless it's a loan secured on the property.

Have you checked all three of your credit reports? Experian, Equifax, Call credit for any errors?
