BA booking via expedia

My daughter has booked BA flights via expedia rather than joining the BA Executive Club. Can she still get the miles if she joins?

Not after booking I don't think. I think you have to give your executive club number during booking.

No, you get the normal amount of avios (air miles) with BA regardless of where you buy it and when you give them the Executive Club number. You can even wait something like 3 months after you've flown and still get the points added.

The only exception is if you buy "bulk" tickets (normally meant for cruise operators etc. to resell) - though reputable places like Expedia wouldn't sell you those.

All you have to do is to go to the "manage my booking" page on BA.com and there is a link where you can add an executive card number to that booking.

I booked through Expedia and went a couple of months ago with ba. Last night I joined the exec club and entered my ticket number and got the points. Enough to get a return fligh to Germany paying £30
