Thanks - saves me wasting my time nowSwipernoSwiping wrote: »Most of the branded stuff you can get elsewhere for the same or less than offered here. Just got back from the Hessle store. All the Frozen stuff has gone and the shelves were empty but for two things when I arrived on the doors opening. My little pony pop and equestria girls can be bought at Entertainer and Smyths for the same or less price wise and there is more choice. The Lego friends and creator sets have already been on Grabbit this week for the same price too. (eg Camper Van set for £14.99) Plenty of Monster High Dolls, Marvel, Teenage Turtle bits Found a fair few things in Home Bargains for around the same price. (Moshi Food Hall £14.99 Crayola Air Brush, £14 ish) Getting it all in one place saves on the shopping fuel but this isn't something you need to lose sleep over if you miss it.0

Disappointed, too many people and not a lot of stuff.
I got a couple of small lego bits but they where only 25% off and seen them the same price or cheaper online.
The My little pony stuff was ok but again Ive seen most of it for the same price online
Some of the younger children's bits looked quite good. There was rather a large dinosaur play-set that was reduced to £6: something. Looked like quite a good large present for a dinosaur fan.
Wish I had known about the star wars lightsaber glitch before I went0 -
I got a lightsaber and it shows 9.99 minus 5.00. No glitch for me x:wall:0

I didn't see much at half price that my youngest would be interested in. Managed to get a Nerf gun for half price and a remote controlled truck but everything else I'm sure I could get as cheap elsewhere especially with most of it being 25-33% off.
In the run up to Xmas there are always offers on elsewhere.0 -
no where near as much stock. This year probably a third of what they usually get in. I was in done and home again before the school run with only three carrier bags needed. A lot of the stuff just doesn't have enough money off to tempt me (spoilt by mse lol). Shelves of the normal toy Isle where getting cleared very quickly tho, the big stuff they bringing not so much except for the hot wheels set they had almost all gone. When I had to go back at half ten to take my nana shopping the shelves looked ransacked so if you want something get it quick coz I cant see much going to the 70% off stage this year.
Ah there you are again!! another year, another toy sale!! read on here it was the toy sale on the 22nd but stupidly thought it was next Wednesday!! Glad I didn't make the trek up to Norwich, the toy sales are not the same as they were a few years back x0 -

Hello my little stalker lol:D you didn't miss much I did the usual and made it for 8 am but wasn't even half as much as last yr they just had a few pallets by the doors as you go in as they redesigned the store earlier in the year and don't have the space now. The glitch wasn't working there either as I checked. All I got was three small carrier bags with some marvel stuff for my littlest and hot wheels but by the time I went back at about half ten with my nan to do proper shopping the place was trashed can't see anything making it to the 70% off stage in a week or so

If anyone spots any playmobil, mr tumble or thomas the tank things could you let me know? We don't have a sainsburys in our town and I don't drive so would have to make a special trip if they have any of the above. Thank you!
I picked up a Mr Tumble doll for £7 ish and a Mr. Tumble puzzle for £3.33.
I also got quite a few good items but there are some people who turn into animals when there is a bargain. Had to tell a woman off for shoving my trolley out of the way- as it still had my toddler in it! I had waited for about 7-8 mins at the end of the aisle until a space was clear but she obviously forgot her manners!
Spoke to the girl restacking the shelves and she said that she had people shouting at her when items were sold out. Her words were 'thank goodness it's only for a few days a year because people go crazy!'.0 -
