  • My store (kidderminster) was insane this morning, packed out with people with 10 copies of the same item in their trollies. I hadnt even realised the toy sale was on lol.
Couldnt get down the toy section itself but what i did see was alot of frozen stuff 25% off, hot wheels large sets and happy land half price. The best deals are the stores own brand things and games.

Popped into Edenthorpe store in Doncaster this morning....over heard some staff members saying how quiet it was (unlike last year)

I picked a few bits up...Barbie My Birthday Doll £6.99...Unicorn Play set £2.99...Kiddies Play Stroller £2.99...Spiderman Figure £7.99 & Hulk £7.99...Wanted Lego items but most of them weren't half price?

  • We have just got back from a pretty large haul. Got a Baby Annabel bathtime set (including doll) for £22.50. A HUGE fire engine for our Nephew for £15, a fairly large Batman lego set for £15, DD also managed to guilt us into buying her a huge Disney princess soft toy doll for £13.32 (was 19.99). Some avengers action figures were half price too, picked up an ironman for £7.50. All in all it was a pretty good trip for us. x

This morning I got a Galt nail art set reduced from £4.99 to £2.49 for my daughter's Christmas stocking as she loves stuff like this!
  • Most of the branded stuff you can get elsewhere for the same or less than offered here. Just got back from the Hessle store. All the Frozen stuff has gone and the shelves were empty but for two things when I arrived on the doors opening. My little pony pop and equestria girls can be bought at Entertainer and Smyths for the same or less price wise and there is more choice. The Lego friends and creator sets have already been on Grabbit this week for the same price too. (eg Camper Van set for £14.99) Plenty of Monster High Dolls, Marvel, Teenage Turtle bits Found a fair few things in Home Bargains for around the same price. (Moshi Food Hall £14.99 Crayola Air Brush, £14 ish) Getting it all in one place saves on the shopping fuel but this isn't something you need to lose sleep over if you miss it. :D

A couple of bits of friends lego are more than 25% off. The lego friends heartland news van with an rrp of £19.99 was £13.27 so a third off. The lego friends little animal packs series six were also really cheap at 75p each.

no where near as much stock. This year probably a third of what they usually get in. I was in done and home again before the school run with only three carrier bags needed. A lot of the stuff just doesn't have enough money off to tempt me (spoilt by mse lol). Shelves of the normal toy Isle where getting cleared very quickly tho, the big stuff they bringing not so much except for the hot wheels set they had almost all gone. When I had to go back at half ten to take my nana shopping the shelves looked ransacked so if you want something get it quick coz I cant see much going to the 70% off stage this year.

It's not everywhere, or it's a very recent glitch (as in the last two hours). I purchased one of the Barbie dolls showing as free on that facebook page and it came up as £9.99 and then £5 off.
