where to send to

Buyer has paid wants me to send to a different address than what is on PayPal. She has put new addreS's in ebay message. She has changed how she wanta the parcel sent three times and wants it handwritten Item.over 150. She has had no time to change PayPal address as she has had crisis come up but has texted several times. I don't think it's worth the risk. If i send to.a different address's do I lose ebay protection as well as PayPal

The sticky postage thread explains all about seller protection.

If you are using tracking then your protection kicks in only if sent to the Address PayPal say is OK to send to.

Clearly something is going to happen here and it will not be good for you.

If it was me, I would post, using tracked delivery, to her registered PAYPAL address and state as such after posting.

You have the option not to post at all but, whatever you do, expect a neg or bad stars for this transaction.

Don't forget to add her to your Blocked Bidders List.

Don't post the item to the new address it is a well know Ebay scam. You must only post to the address given in Paypal, otherwise she can claim non receipt and even if it shows as delivered you will lose any dispute as you did not post to the paypal address. Even if she updates her paypal address today it is still not relevant for this transaction as you have already received the payment receipt with the wrong address.

Tell her it is against Paypal policy to post to a different address and transaction needs to be cancelled. Tell her you will relist for her to purchase again with the correct address or you can just block her from bidding again. Chances are she will refuse the cancellation and you will lose your fees and possibly receive a neg and defect but it's better than losing £150 Also report her behaviour to Ebay as she may be on their rada. Some buyers are ignorant of the paypal address rule but the fact she is making excuses as to why she did not update her address makes it far more likely she knows exactly what she is doing.
